Dog Quote: ‘A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself”
Word of the week: Understanding; a) ability to understand something; comprehension. “I understand what to do now”. Synonyms: grasp, mastery, perception, interpretation; b) sympathetically aware of other people's feelings; tolerant and forgiving. “he was a king understanding boy”. Synonyms: Compassionate, considerate, kind, thoughtful, patient, forgiving, reassuring, good-natured. Archaic) having insight or good judgement.
Bethany Frankel: A very driven business woman. All of her ups and downs in life and business is at the tip of anyone’s fingers who is interested to know. For me I see Bethany’s determination and creativity. Her reality seems grueling, one I seriously couldn’t imagine surviving even if it is staged for TV at times. All in all Bethany is a stand out person because she believed in herself and went out and got what she wanted. It may not have been all roses but her life story certainly has fairy tale qualities.
Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Channel: The longevity in her career and dynamic personal life. To read about her life seems surreal. To have her legacy move into a new age seamlessly is something most of us would long for. To create a style of dressing for women that was simply comfortable to wear and basically emulated men’s attire at the time it seems so easy for me to think ‘why did that style take off?’ Today women have so much choice in what we wear but when Coco emerged it was still the era of the corset. I couldn’t think of anything more uncomfortable to slip into to pop out of the house for fresh air just so you remain dignified.
Miranda Hart: Wow Miranda has the ability to extract one single thought and transform it into a whole sitcom. Ok, so generally that’s where most creations start, but can I relate, slightly. I need to flesh out ideas and thoughts surrounding the initial thought in my own space before I even consider sharing the idea with someone else. Miranda can write for days and even act outs her own thoughts in her lounge room before anyone is allowed a peep. I guess that’s the beauty of living being an independent talented female.

Genuinely Humbling Famous Men
Jake Gyllenhaal: Donny Darko certainly put Jake in front of my eyes. Prince of Persia Sands of Time is my favourite Jake movie. He is subtly handsome, a quality I like to see, with broad shoulders. As such a diverse actor showing such vulnerabilities, humor, brute strength at times and has been on the screen for almost 30 years………. I’m not aging! Not only that he loves and respects his mother and sister supporting their careers and being a fantastic son and uncle. He also dabbles in playing the drums, talented!
Tom Tilley: News presenter for Triple J’s Hack. This man is hands down the most empathetic man on radio and TV. To hear how he approaches and deals with tough topics and people whilst remaining impartial and dignified and did I mention he plays bass in a band! Client Liaison is an indie pop band whose grooves get you moving. Oh yes he has ruggedly handsome looks to boot. He is quite illusive on the internet with his personal life but that is ok, he is one educated, down to earth young man who deserves a life of quiet outside his busy public career.
David Attenborough: We all recognise the voice and we all try to impersonate him as we stare intently at the TV screen watching animals go about their daily business. Why is it so fascinating? How did they get those shots and who knew that existed? The reason we ask these questions is because David made us do it! And for that the greater part of the human race is grateful. For me there was never a time before David, at 91 years young he places so of us many to shame with his work ethic and pursuit to understand other living beings. Where are more men like him?
